The Moi International Airport (IATA: MBA) is an airport situated in Mombasa, the second-largest city in Kenya, and is one of the major airports in the country. During the 2020 Airports Council International conference, the Moi International Airport was hailed as the best airport in Africa (with under 2 million passengers annually) in the category of “Best Airport in Africa”.

Mombasa is served by Moi International Airport, which serves the city as well as all the surrounding communities. It is approximately 425 kilometers (264 miles), by air, southeast of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the busiest and largest airport in the country. Kenya Airports Authority operates the Mombasa Airport, which is located approximately 425 kilometers (264 miles) southeast of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The airport was named after Daniel Arap Moi, the second president of the Republic of Kenya during his tenure.
It is imperative to note that Moi International Airport has two terminals. International flights are primarily conducted out of Terminal 1, while domestic flights are primarily conducted out of Terminal 2. There are some airlines that use Terminal 1 both for domestic and international flights, for example, Kenya Airways, the National Airlines.
As announced in September 2018, Qatar Airways introduced four weekly flights operating with the Airbus A320 from Doha to Mombasa. On 11 December 2018, the first flight was launched, with a flight time of just over six hours from Doha to Doha.
